Welcome to El Segundo, where the natural beauty of Tulum is seamlessly embraced, blending jungle surroundings with the timeless charm of Mexican haciendas.
El Segundo Sol exudes organic beauty through the extensive use of natural materials such as wood, stone, bamboo, and thatch. The laid-back bohemian vibe of Tulum’s streets and beaches is brought to life with rattan light fixtures and rope-wrapped columns.
The restaurant was meticulously renovated to create a modern and vibrant space. Every detail is carefully curated to reflect the rich cultural tapestry of the region, paying homage to its indigenous roots and artistic heritage. With design direction by Avril Zayas, Director of Interior Design at Lettuce Entertain You, and in collaboration with the LEYE team, the design development and details were executed with precision and creativity. This renovation project marries contemporary aesthetics with the authentic, earthy charm of Tulum, resulting in an inviting and culturally rich dining experience.
