Founded by Shilpa Puri, Gahira Studio is an invitation into an extraordinary design world where a passion for art is seamlessly woven into every creation, weaving an enchanting narrative of belonging.

SHILPA PURI
FOUNDER | CREATIVE DIRECTOR
Inquisitive and instinctual, Shilpa Puri brings +15 years of extensive hospitality experience.
Shilpa has produced a series of luxury branded and boutique hotel projects along with a variety of specialty restaurants with renowned design & architectural firms based out of Chicago like Simeone Deary Design Group, VOA and 555 International. Her breadth of work entails leadership roles as an Associate, Sr. Designer and Project Designer on large scale projects with Google, Chicago Cubs, Hilton, Marriott International, Hardrock Hotels and Resorts, Aparium Hotel Group, White Lodging and Boka Restaurant Group.
Adding to the richness of her professional journey, Shilpa has also made significant strides in the dynamic realm of private villa projects in India. She lent her visionary touch to various private villas, demonstrating a versatile approach that seamlessly integrates cultural nuances and modern aesthetics. Creating spaces that are not only visually stunning but also deeply rooted in the essence of their surroundings.
Shilpa received a Bachelor of Fine Arts - Interior Architecture from Columbia College of Chicago. Prior to her design career, she earned a Master’s of Business degree in Marketing and Finance from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies in India.
Inspired by her love of traveling and experiencing new cultures, she approaches every project with an open mind and innovative spirit.
